Allison Strong, aka “The Radioactive Patient,” is a mental health activist, music critic and the host of “The Radioactive Patient” YouTube channel. Her written work has been published in SUBSTANCE, The Perch Literary Journal, The McNeese Review, The Miami Herald, The Arizona Public, Hits Magazine, Psych Central, and Bipolar Magazine, among others. From 2021-2025 she served as the associate editor for Kallisto Gaia Press. Her work-in-progress, The Radioactive Patient: Pain, Drugs, & Rock ‘N Roll is an account of her recovery from chronic pain and opiate addiction.
